Avoid, don't even think, anywhere is much better

This is not a hotel, but a stable, snd that said very indulgently. I'm sure there are better looking stables out there. Old and dirty furniture, unkempt, dilapidated rooms, horrible bathrooms, old and dirty bed linen. Although it has 6 floors, it has only one elevator, most likely manufactured in the interwar period. Hot water is unknown there, and worst of all, the electrical installation is like in Afghanistan. The electricity supply is interrupted at least twice an hour, and because the heating is done exclusively by small electric radiators, it is bitterly cold in the so-called hotel. If that wasn't enough, the hotel employees are not only rude and incompetent, but also downright mentally retarded. Moreover, this stable is located in an unpleasant area full of dilapidated buildings, garbage, beggars and homeless people.

Near the Central Station but arguably not worth the price they charged

So I specifically booked a single room; it was therefore a surprise to find 3 single-beds packed together, set up as if 3 separate people would sleep there. They also piled in a lot of furniture that didn't fit into the room (namely because of the 3 beds in the room) and ultimately obstructed my ability to use the wardrobe. I checked with the reception if I was in the correct room, to which they confirmed I definitely was. There was a fridge, but it wasn't plugged in (or even anywhere near a plug). Whilst it was an old building, I got the impression this room could have dealt with a bit of love and care; the bathroom was fine but the shower filled up quite quickly and ultimately leaked out onto the floor after about 30 seconds of use. Location-wise it's near Munich Central Station, the surrounding area is a bit seedy (a lot of Gentlemen Clubs) but I think that's just typical of the surrounding areas of central stations in Mainland Europe as I've heard similar from other people who have visited similar cities. The price was the stinger though, and it did come off as very expensive given I was able to stay in a cleaner, more modern and comfortable suite in Berlin (in a similar location) for about £80 cheaper. The photos they provide for the hotel? I didn't take any myself, but I can assure you my room did not match up with the photos on their various listings

The most horrible hotel experience you can ever have in Hotel S16, Munich

PLEASE DONT CHOOSE HOTEL S16 (the worst in Munich in term of safety) When I checked out, I put my backpack for storage at the counter and the staff promised to look after it, however it was stolen by the homeless people on the street. I have lost around 650 Euro personal belongings, including my passport, wallet and laptop. In general, they have the following problem. 1.Honesty- They lied to me at first when they said they just gave my bag to another wrong customer without telling me the truth given that they know my backpack is stolen already. 2.Ridiculouness- They only discover my bed is stolen after 4 hours when I return back to the hotel at 5pm. According to the CCTV, it was stolen by a guy at 1pm and the counter had no staff for a very long time(there is always no one at the counter). If I return back at night, then I believe they will only discuss if my bags are stolen that time. 3. Irresponsibility- I requested compensation for my lost items, they just superficially and officially said they are processing and asked me to wait. However after 12 days of waiting, they still did not get back to me. I have whatsapped the manager and emailed the hotel, and have no replies. They are hiding from me and escaping from the responsibility. So please don’t choose this hotel as it is surrounded by a lot of homeless people that can steal your personal belongings and the owner and managers are very irresponsible. Besides, a prostitution is located right next to the Hotel. Drag queens are at the entrance to attract and seduce people to get in, not suitable for travellers of families to live in this hotel.

Very close to the main station with tube , bus and tram stops thrown in transport is no problem. This hotel provides clean accommodation with twin beds , clean fresh linen and towels, fridge, safe, wi-fi, tea and coffee making equipment, toiletries etc etc, A quirky feature is the artificial lawn on the balcony with a cafe table and chairs. Very helpful staff My only problem was a loose tap. Late night food stores nearby.

Stayed with a buddy for Oktoberfest. For this, it was a great location. About a 15min walk to Theresienwiese. 10min walk to Karlsplatze and another 10mins to Marienplatze. Train station is about 5-10 min walk. We walked right by it the first time, the entrance looks like nothing more then a window to a shop. However that's just the small lobby. The rooms span a wider footprint beyond the main floor. Small elevator or stairs to get to your room. Typical European hotel room. Small bathroom and even smaller shower. The 2 single beds are almost touching however we found them to be quite comfy. A little water damage that appeared to have leaked down from the room above had the paint peeling away behind the curtain. You don't hear much noise from the street, however you will easily hear other guests in the hall/ stairway. The room felt older but seemed clean enough. At night, there appears to be 4 strip clubs on the same street. 1 next door and 2 right across the street. I wouldn't recommend this place for families however for traveling with friends, it fits the bill.
